SHARKastics can be prevented by
REFUSING, REDUCING, REUSING, RECYCLING, & RECLAIMING our rubbish!
Daily choices:
Please refuse single use products such as bottles, bags, straws, plates, cups, cutlery, and take-away containers (even if they seem "earth friendly" they're usually not).
Simply bring your own reusable items to drastically reduce wasteful waste!

(in effect in 2019):
Maui County's passed, but please support the statewide polystyrene reduction ordinances too!
Bring your own and just say no to plastic straws! If your favorite restaurant insists on serving straws, encourage them to switch to paper straws! They're often cheaper than plastic...
It's a win-win for everyone!
